As a little girl I disliked the name Fannie Mae because I felt like my mother should have given this name to one of my four sisters. I came to realize that the name Fannie Mae is a very popular name and there is POWER behind that name.
I realize there are so many pivotal people with this name as far back as the twentieth century. Dr. Fannie Hagen Emanuel, a doctor and civil leader active in Chicago over the early decades of the twentieth century. Fannie Farmer, Fannie Mae FNMA. Also, I stumbled across this restaurant in Cape Canaveral, named Fanny’s Fried Chicken!

Who is
Lady Fannie Mae?
Born in Florida and moved to Rochester, New York in the late 1960’s upon my mother’s decision. I was quite a shy girl and being the middle child I was in a world of my own. Always dreaming and looking at beautiful houses, gardens, pretending to be this great singer like Diana Ross. I loved exploring art, music, recording and writing notes. There was something special inside of me, I was gifted in singing and writing and was always very active in dramatic plays at school. I felt the need to always serve others with a spirit of excellence. And whatever task I had it was done with a spirit of excellence.

We were raised in church and I couldn’t wait to get there. I loved to listen to the church sermons and listen to the church choir. As a child I would always pray and talk to “God” . I really loved “God”, I would hear my mother telling people there’s something special about my child “Fannie Mae”! I was obsessed with reading about famous people, writing notes on the calendar and organizing everything.
I loved being a “Lady” meaning I was very lady-like and was always decorating and making things beautiful. I adored my mother's roses in her garden and would always watch my mother give to the poor, take care of the abused mothers and their children. After my high school graduation I pursued modeling at John Robert Powers School of Modeling. Over the years I utilized my talents to perform in talent & fashion shows, fundraisers and church conventions in upstate New York before relocating to Orlando, Fl.
